Steam on the Constitution Limited
Join us behind Nickel Plate Road steam locomotive no. 765 aboard the Constitution Limited in September of 1987. These trips helped celebrate the ratification of Ohio's Constitution in 1787 and operated between Brewster, Vermillion, Bellevue, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania. Enjoy this rare vintage footage of the 765 operating at speed wearing guest whistle from a Pennslyvania Railroad K4 steam locomotive; see night-time steam running and catch glimpses of Conrail, Southern and Norfolk Southern freight trains at work. Thanks to Steven Heister for sharing these dramatic moments from his archive.
