Tandoori Chicken Drumsticks on the grill today 🍗 🌶 🔥
I just love Spiceology and their amazing blends. Recently got this Tandoori blend because I love tandoori chicken and wanted to take a stab at making some of my own. First, I scored the outside of some skinless drumsticks to let the marinade seep in deeper. Marinated them overnight in yogurt, lemon zest + juice, oil and Spiceology tandoori seasoning. The next day I preheat my grill using some Cowboy Charcoal to as high as it could go (450F+). I laid the chicken on the outside of the grill grates in an almost indirect/baking style method. The scoring and marinating will allow the chicken to cook quickly, get a nice crust and not burn. Cooked them for only 25-30 minutes until they were nice and tender at 165F internal. The crust on them was amazing, and they were nice and zesty from the Tandoori seasoning. This would be a great meal for any night of the week or when friends come over! 👍
