The language barrier between Halsey and BTS is ‘unimportant’ The K-Pop sensations and the 'Castle' hitmaker collaborated on the track 'Boy With Luv': and they gave a live performance of the hit track during the Billboard Music Awards. BTS come from Korea, meanwhile Halsey is from America: so many people may assume that the language barrier would be an issue. However, the singer insisted during a red carpet interview that it actually wasn't a problem for them: since she believes their "love" for music shows regardless of what language they speak. We show that despite what seems like a language barrier is just kind of unimportant when it comes down to a bunch of young people who really love music. We just love hanging out and it really shows through. BTS and Halsey seemed to prove this later on in the evening: as they took to the stage during the BBMAs to give an astounding performance.
