The Launch of AlJazeera America

On August 20th, 2013 history was made in the US TV news market when Qatar-based AlJazeera launched an American version of it's popular 24 hour news channel AlJazeera. The channel will feature live news, in depth documentaries and less commercial advertising then it's competition.
