The X Factor Season 2 : RECAP of Episode 11 - Judges House #3

On Wednesday, October 17, 2012 episode 11, the judges were set to give their verdict on who will be going home.

Due to a rain delay of the Major League Baseball playoffs between the Cardinals and the Giants, this meant a delay in start time and an early finish for the Top 16 Annoucement Night. Only 10 acts who made it through to the live shows were announced.

The Teens (ages 12-16) mentored by Britney Spears was the first group to be judged.

Let me first start by saying the we are sad to hear that both James Tanner and Reed Deeming did not make it through to the live show rounds; they will be going home.

Britney picked the following contestants from her group and they will be going to the live shows:

- Diamond White
- Carly Rose Sonenclar
- Arin Ray
- Beatrice Miller


Over 25s mentored by L.A. Reid

L.A. Reid picked the following for his group to go the live shows:
- David Correy
- Jason Brock
- Tate Stevens; and
- Vino Alan (pronounced Alon)

We're sorry to hear that both Daryl Black and Tara Simon did not make it through.

The Young Adults (age 17-24) mentored by Demi Lovato

The show ended with Demi informing both Jennel Garcia and Willie Jones that she picked them for her group to go to the live shows.

However, there are 4 left in her group: Cece Frey, Nick Youngerman, Paige Thomas and Jullian Jensen.

Next week ends Lovato's choices and gives Cowell a chance to shine, and will be shown on Tuesday, October 23, from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m EST.
