US military confirms Afghan crash but disputes plane shot down

US officials say they have recovered human remains from a military aircraft that crashed in Afghanistan.
The plane went down in a mountainous area of Ghazni province, which is partly controlled by the Taliban.
The US has denied reports that Taliban fighters shot the aircraft down.
