Babies: Their Wonderful World
Dozens of babies from across Britain come together in this unique series exploring how the first two years of life shape the adults we become. A team of world-leading experts reveal new insights into the development of the baby brain. Based in a specially constructed BabyLab, they explore everything from tantrums and laughing to empathy and learning. This is one of the most far-reaching and comprehensive studies into the first two years of life ever attempted, shining a light on the inner workings of a baby’s mind and ultimately revealing what makes us all who we are.

Welcome to BBC Earth Lab! Here we answer all your curious questions about science in the world around you (and further afield too). If there’s a question you have that we haven’t yet answered let us know in the comments on any of our videos and it could be answered by one of our Earth Lab experts.
