Next week #AnubhavSinha releases his new film #Thappad, his third in as many years. If you've followed the filmmaker's career, you'll have noticed he's evolved into something very different from the man who once made films like Dus, Cash, and Ra.One. In "Mulk" and "Article 15", both thoughtful films about burning social and political issues, he's revealed himself to be an extremely aware, sensitive, and competent storyteller. "Thappad", which stars Taapsee Pannu, is a film about male entitlement. He's already completed another film that'll release later this year, and he dives straight into his next for which he reunites with his Article 15 star Ayushmann Khurrana. CNN-News18’s #RajeevMasand met Anubhav earlier this week and we spoke about "Thappad", and how he hopes to change the mindset of both men and women.
