CASSAVA CAKE RECIPE (Filipino Dessert) | Ep. 1 | Mortar and Pastry

Cassava cake is a traditional delicacy in the Philippines. It is made from grated fresh cassava, coconut milk, egg, butter and sugar. Kakanin like Cassava cake is always good to be served with coffee that every Filipino enjoys.

Ingredients:
1kg freshly grated cassava
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup coconutmilk
1 cup water
2 eggs
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Creamy topping:
1 can (390g) sweetened condensed milk
4 large eggs
1 cup pure coconut milk

Garnish:
Grated cheese or Macapuno
