Hotcake (Filipino Style)
Hotcake (Filipino Style)
Filipino version of hotcake is kind of thin and has yellow color because yellow food color is added. Then margarine is spread on top of it and sprinkled with sugar. It's rare to see vendors selling this Hotcake nowadays. So i decided to make my own recipe of this Filipino version of hotcake. I hope it came close to the taste of the one i use to buy when I was just a little kid.

2. In low fire, heat cooking oil in a pan.
3. Pour in 1 laddle of batter into the pan. Flip when the surface starts to bubbles.
4. Cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
5. Repeat doing this until you finish all the batter.
