Hello friends, I am so excited to cook this as my husband and I love eating and when we had the chance of going back to the Philippines we ate at a Pares stall beside the Barangay Hall in Makati and boy it reminds you how good our street food is.

I tried to replicate it and here is the result.

Ingredients

1 kg beef brisket
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 cloves garlic
3 tbsp ginger
1 small onion
4 pcs star anise
1/4 cup sugar
spring onion
black pepper
1 1/2 cup beef stock
