Itlog Na Maalat I Homemade Salted Eggs
Ingredients
9 pieces of egg (white or brown)
1 cup salt
3 ½ cup water

Procedure
1. Put eggs in a glass container. In a bowl dissolve salt in water. Mix until the mixture becomes clearer. Pour water and salt mixture over the eggs until it’s completely submerged.
2. Cover container and let the eggs soaked in salt water mixture for 17 days. After 17 days remove eggs from the water salt mixture. Wash the salted egg then put it in a pot of water. Boil over medium heat for 15 minutes.
3. After it’s boiled remove from the water and dry the salted eggs. Now it’s ready to be served. It can be ulam(viand) and toppings for bibingka and puto.
