Kutsinta or Cuchinta is a Filipino kakanin that is made from a mixture of cassava flour, brown sugar and lye. This is a type of steamed rice cake that is enhanced with annato extract or food coloring, so it has an orange brownish color. Kutsinta is served with grated coconut or topped with cheese.
