Milo Polvoron Recipe
Polvoron is a favorite Filipino treat. Polvoron is a Filipino shortbread made from toasted flour, powdered milk, sugar and butter. And this Filipino treat can be made into so many flavors: cookies and cream, ube, pinipig, cashew, pandan, graham and now you can see in supermarkets they also sell chocolate coated polvoron. This Filipino treat is a perfect pasalubong. Today we’re going to make milo flavoured polvoron, because everybody loves miloing.
You can also make this into a business or negosyo since there are a lot of flavors of polvoron that you can offer to the public so they’ll never get tired of it.

Milo Polvoron Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup all purpose flour
½ cup powdered milk
1/3 cup sugar
½ cup melted butter
½ cup milo or 2(22g) sachets of milo
Materials:
Polvoron mold
Cellophane or Japanese paper
Procedure
1. Sift flour into a bowl. In a pan toast flour over medium heat until lightly brown in color. Keep stirring to avoid it being burnt. Transfer it into a bowl and let it cool completely.
2. In a bowl combine together toasted flour, powdered milk, sugar and milo. Mix well.
3. Add melted butter. Mix until well blended and the mixture is slightly damp.
4. Scoop mixture into the polvoron mold. Press mixture to the mold using the back of the spoon to make it compact.
5. Release molded mixture into a prepared wrapper (cellophane or Japanese paper). Carefully wrap the polvoron aand twist both ends of the wrapper.
6. Refrigerate milo polvoron until you’re ready to eat them.
Yields: 40-41 pieces depends on the size of the polvoron mold
