MMDA Flood Control

Have you ever wondered about those little yellow buildings along EDSA and other places? Those are MMDA pumping stations that are used for flood control.

The water has to go somewhere. This pump station pulls water from the Aurora underpass and distribites it on the roads above.

Without the pump, that underpass will flood and light vehicles will be unable to pass.
