Nokie Edwards, Surf Rock Pioneer, Dead At 82

Guitarist and bassist for surf rock pioneers The Ventures, Nokie Edwards has died at the age of 82<br />Edwards played bass on the popular 60's surf-rock version of“Walk, Don’t Run” before switching to guitar.<br />He was a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.<br />The Ventures were lauded as the most successful instrumental group in rock history.<br />They are also known for performing the theme to the TV series “Hawaii Five-O.
