Anjali Devi's dad V.Nagaiah is finding difficult to get her daughter married as he had done Intercaste marriage. Gemini Ganesan weds Anjali devi without his parent's approval. When his dad Sankarapani comes to know about it, he asks Gemini Ganesan to leave Anjalidevi and marry Vyjayanthi mala. During the wedding, Vyjayanthi mala stops the wedding and reveals the truth about Anjali Devi. Gemini Ganesan reunites with Anjalidevi and Vyjayanthimala gets married to S.Balachander
