PUTO FLAN | How to Make Leche Puto | Ep. 44 | Mortar and Pastry
This Puto Flan recipe is very creamy, soft and fluffy. If you’re a custard lover, you will surely love this easy snack that you can make at home with simple ingredients in just a few steps!
5 egg yolks
¾ cup (190g) condensed milk
1 cup all purpose flour
½ tablespoon + 1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup sugar
½ cup evaporated milk (you can add more up to 1/4 cup if the batter is too thick)
1 large egg white
2 tbsp melted butter
Steam flan on medium-low heat for 5 mins, pour puto batter and steam again for another 10-12 minutes. Let them cool completely before removing from the molds for the flan to set.
This recipe makes 18-20 small puto flan.
