Puto Flan | How to make Puto Flan (Food Business)

Leche flan ingredients:

4 large eggs
390g condensed milk
410ml evaporated milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 tsp yellow food color(optional)

Puto ingredients:

3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 1/2 tbsp baking powder
1 cup white sugar
7 tbsp powdered milk
3 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Flavored Puto flan (optional)
Food color and flavor
Cocoa powder

We need:

Puto Molders(2 oz)

Leche Flan procedure:

1) bring 1 liter water to a boil
2) Combine eggs, evaporated milk, condensed milk, vanilla extract and yellow food color. Mix well
3) Strain 4x
4) Transfer onto molders. 1 1/2 tbsp per molder
5) Steam for 8-10 minutes over low heat. *don't forget to wrap the lid with clean cloth to prevent water from dripping into the flan
6) *do the toothpick check and if it comes out clean the flan is cook
7) Let it cool

Puto Procedure:

1) Combine all purpose flour, powdered milk, baking powder and white sugar. Mix well
2) Add water and vanilla extract. Mix well
3) Strain
4) Pour onto the molders. 1/8 cup per molder
5) Steam for 10-15 minutes over low heat
6) *do the toothpick check and if it comes out clean or with few moist crumbs the puto is cook
7) Let it cool
8) Remove puto fkan from molders using toothpick or small spatula
