Xpeng All-electric P7 Sedan - The Smarter Tesla Alternative?
The Xpeng P7 follows on from the G3 SUV which the electric startup introduced to the Chinese market last year. Xpeng’s P7 was first unveiled to the world in April 2019 during the Shanghai Auto Show.Xpeng spent no less than 120 days cold-weather testing the P7 in temperatures that dropped as low as -40°C (-40° Fahrenheit), allowing engineers to test out critical components of the sedan. Much of the car’s testing related to its traction control system. In addition, Xpeng worked to fine-tune the chassis and the vehicle’s handling. With none other than Porsche Engineering playing a key role in the chassis, we’ve got little doubt the P7 will handle quite well.
