|| For KUTSINTA ||
Ingredients:
(2 cups) cassava flour
(2 cups+4 tbsps) all purpose flour
(2 cups+2/8 cups) dark brown sugar
(2 tsps) lye water
(6 cups+2/8 cups) water

Procedure:
In a bowl, Combine all dry ingredients together and mix it well.
Combine wet ingredients together
Mix all together using wire whisk
Strain the mixture to remove any lumps.
Prepare moulds and brush with oil.
Add 1 tbsp of kutsinta mixture in each mould( im using Large moulder)
Steam for 15 minutes over medium heat.
(Dont forget to wrap the lid with clean cloth to avoid water from dripping into the kutsinta).

|| For PUTO ||
Ingredients:
(4 cups) all purpose flour
(2 cups) white sugar
(1 cup+1/3 cup) evaporated milk
(1 tsp) salt
(4 tbsps) baking powder
(2 tsps) vanilla
(2 cups+2/3 cups) water

Procedure:
In a separate bowl, mix all dry ingredients(all purpose flour, white sugar, baking powder and salt). For wet ingredients (water, evaporated milk and vanilla)
Add im mixed wet ingredients. Stir until smooth but dont overbeat, Strain.
Rest for 20 minutes before cooking to activate the baking powder.
Add 2 tbsps puto mixture into the steamed kutsinta moulds.
Steam for 10 to 15 minutes. Insert toothpick in the middle of the puto when the stick comes out clean, then your puto is now cooked.
Remove from heat and let it cooldown completely. Enjoy!

(NOTE: for the excess of kutsinta 3tbsp each large moulder 20 to 35 minutes insert toothpick test when cooked)..
